LEARNING IN A
NATURE PRESERVE
AT FREEPORT,
NATURE ISN'T A BREAK FROM LEARNING.
ITS PART OF HOW OUR KIDS LEARN.
Trails become classrooms. The woods invite questions.
Science can be observed, explored and experienced firsthand.
With room to move, investigate and discover, everyday moments become opportunities for curiosity, problem-solving and real-life learning.

THIS IS THEIR
CLASSROOM
A NATURE PRESERVE TO MOVE, EXPLORE, DISCOVER AND GROW.
At Freeport, the Longleaf pine ecosystem becomes part of the classroom.
Room to explore.
Room to ask questions.
Room to discover the natural world firsthand.
Room to grow into capable, curious kids.

LIFE IN A NATURE PRESERVE
NOT EVERY LESSON NEEDS 4 WALLS
Some things can only be learned by doing.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE SCHOOLHOUSE
A small team.
A shared belief that children learn best
when they are known, challenged, trusted and given room to grow.
