An our day begins at 9:00 AM with The Pledge of Allegiance, then 30 minutes of body weight movement, followed by focused academics, creative explorations and real life learning, with short brain breaks, and recess through out the day. We clean up and do chores at 11:50 AM ready for pick up and or lunch if we are staying for electives, which run till 2:00 PM

We use a thoughtfully blended hybrid approach. Our teaching is in person. For our Core ELA and Math, we pull from time tested, mastery based resources that focus on strong foundational learning, like Evan and Moore, to keep our mission of school meets home. Think phonics, numbers, writing, reading comprehension and Math. We believe in teaching to the child, not to the book, so our curriculum is enriched with individual application.

For Non core days we include science, nature and geography, we lean into living books, outdoor experience and exploration, stem, we derive into history, finical literacy and critical thinking. Our goal is a curriculum that supports deep thinking, real world skills and joyful learning and a home meets school environment.

Ranch Day is a hands-on, outdoor learning experience where students engage with nature, land stewardship, animals, and practical life skills in a real-world setting. Activities may include animal care, gardening, building projects, exploration, and team-based learning.

Some Ranch Days may be designated as Parent Days, where families are invited to participate, observe, or learn alongside their children. These days are designed to strengthen community and deepen the learning experience.

This is a drop off activity but parents are also welcome to stay.

Wagyumama Schoolhouse is a Unique Hybrid Homeschool instructional Program. We accept PEP and UA Step Up scholarships and offer cash paying discounts. We are rooted in nature, real world learning and strong academics. We are not a traditional school. We offer Flexible program options designed to support families in creating a customized, hands on educational experience.

Yes, we are faith-based in the sense that we believe in God and value faith as a foundation for character and purpose. That said, we do not teach religious doctrine, or a religion-based curriculum.

Our focus is on character, morality, integrity, personal responsibility, kindness, integrity, and being a good human, values that transcend denominations and belief systems.

We believe that religious instruction is a family and parental responsibility and choice, and we fully respect each family’s beliefs, choices and traditions. Our role is to support children in developing strong character, respect for others, and a grounded sense of purpose, while leaving formal religious teaching to the home.
